The ego is cunning and versatile. It seeks to influence the outcome, all for the sake of love or what we need in order to exist. It is wielding and easily excited. It is the monarch in our hierarchy and the foundation of our will. When we surrender we accommodate the ego to exist in harmony with other willing beings. Ego is like the sweetest spice, just the right amount is perfect.
