They say "where there is love there is pain"
Well I say "where there is love there is, expectations,compromise,disappointment,
betrayal,anger,selfishness and jealousy.
Now if we could all fall in love and be fully aware of the "pain" that comes with it,we would all be a lot happier in the end. Ironically.
are you saying that pain is expectations, compromise, disappointment,
betrayal, anger, selfishness and jealousy? is pain fear or is fear pain? falling in love is our free pass to let it all hang out. if we try and hold back then we'll never really know what it feels like to fall in love.
I'm simply elaborating on the word "pain". I encourage falling in love. There's no better feeling, having someone to love and someone who loves you back. But we sometimes forget the pain that comes along with it. We expect too much from people. We also seem to be surprised when they disappoint us. It's inevitable, people we love will always disappoint us one way or another. We shouldn't focus on the hurt they caused, only the great things they brought to our life at one time or another. We should be thankful every time we find love, and hold on to it for as long as we can, even if it hurts sometimes.
